Devin Badgett

This feature is a bit special to ROR, we met singer-songwriter Devin Badgett in a crowd while waiting for Phoebe Bridgers to perform in Nashville. We reached out to Devin after hearing his track My Own Man taken off his Primary Colors EP which we not only have on repeat but was voted Knoxville's best song of 2017.

Devin lists Shakey Graves’ And the War Came as a record that he could listen to endlessly. Stating 'it had a big hand in inspiring a handful of the sounds throughout Primary Colors. There are just so many interesting textures littered throughout Shakey’s work. It keeps you on your toes. Keeps you guessing. Gives it a great replay value'.
